Wounded Warrior Project

Finally sitting down to blog after a nice long weekend off.  Hope everyone had a happy holiday weekend.
Besides making art I also have a office job.  I work for the oldest American made bicycle company in America.  Worksman Cycles was established in 1898 in what is now the footprint of the World Trade Center.  It relocated to a factory in Queens, NY many years later.  They were the makers of the original Good Humor Ice cream Tricycle.

Worksman Cycles recently partnered with The Wounded Warrior Project and created two new outstanding bikes for the charity.  On Thursday the head of the WWP, two Wounded Warriors and Matthew Modene (along with every New York newspaper rep) came  for  lunch and a tour of the factory.  Here are just some of the 411 photos I shot that day.

Me and Matthew Modene

I also took the tour with everyone and got some great shots of the factory.  The behind the scenes of Worksman Cycles.
