Ginger

Actually, this doll came out pretty much how I had envisioned.  I wanted to create a "Ginger" doll.  A little  freckled face red headed girl.  But as with all of my pieces there is always a dash of dark thrown in regardless of how much I try to avoid it.  Oh well, she was a lot of fun to work on.

Ginger is a 14 inch tall OOAK (one of a kind) Art Doll.  No molds were used to create her.  She is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature.  She has lovely light auburn human hair.  Light blue eyes.  Her dress and hat are made of velvet.  Her shoes are hand made of leather and ribbon.  Her pantaloons are made of satin and ribbon.
